What is the most likely podium at this point?

1. Yates
2. Dumo
3. Pinot?

I can't see Pozzovivo on the podium with the upcoming flat time trial.
Pozzo has a better record than Pinot in ITTs at Grand Tours. And it's after a rest day.
True, but those were at least hilly or very lumpy. But I think this one is too flat for a little guy like him.

Pinot is 10 kg+ heavier and 5 inches taller. And if it's windy, Pozzo is gonna suffer a lot.

44th in the Vuelta last GT of 2017, followed by a runaway "Armstrongesque" type performance in the first GT of 2018, riding away from climbing specialists at will - Yates performance by any objective measure is highly suspicious.

Should never have ridden the Vuelta 2017 - Never recovered after the 2017 TDF.

Pinot beat Pozzovivo by a minute in the very comparable flat time trial last year with both in similar good form. I would expect PInot to beat him with at least a minute now. Pozzovivo is great in technical and hilly time trials but when it is totally flat he is not that good.

You are being selective. He was 6th in 2016 Vuelta at the young age of 24 (the year BEFORE) and one of the most promising riders in his U23 years.

I agree that there are suspicious riders out there but Yates is CLEARLY a talent.
