Yates is dropping like a rock. No point even showing him anymore for the tv other than to humiliate him.

I'm becoming a Froome fan right now. Once again shows this guy could be a very popular cyclist if he was just riding for a different team.
Yep, this is legendary stuff.

Tom needing to take responsibility a la Evans vs Schleck. Froome is sending a big message for sure but there's like 15km of wide open highway between Oulx and Bardonecchia.

Yates now at six minutes.

I shouldn't have sympathies and antipathies.
I shouldn't get over excited when one rider attacks, while another rider attacking leaves me with an empty feeling in my stomach.
Yet, I do... it's just, I guess I like the underdog. Froome already has his GT wins...

He'd have to be a different nationality too.... Look at all the hatred Yates has had. If he rode for Kenya he'd be a lot more popular.

Froome counting on no one helping Dumo in the flats. Could happen.

Carapaz want to distance Lopez and Pinot wants podium. He will get help.
Reichenbach not far behind, Lopez there too. These 5 will come together in the downhill and will work together. If only for the stage win.

Dumo is so lucky Yates had pink going into today, or right now there would have been two or three Sky guys up the road for Froome to bridge to

Dumoulin still looks like a panic-free machine. If the others can hang on to the top then he can likely manage this gap.

Domourain still there tho. Don't think Froome right now is going anywhere

Dumoulin looks comfortable. But Froome doesnt have a much better chance of trying to reel in 3 minutes on Dumoulin. He is actually trying. All the more reason to hate the Sky train.

All my predictions on Pozzo were based on the assumption that he isn't totally useless on gravel roads, apologies.

This is distracting me from work. I'm meant to be writing a section on naïve realism for a textbook. Followed by some mitigated scepticism.

Where are the other Sky riders - near enough to Dumolin to be able to help Froome if they catch him?
