Funny that last year the guys who were fighting for white jersey saved Dumo's Giro and now they are helping him loose it.
They're just there. They got gapped in both climbs. They' are not his domestiques.

The Pope has to hand Froome the trofeo senza fine in Rome, he can't miss the chance to shake hands with the greatest cyclist of all time.

Surely they will take 30-60 seconds back on the last climb, Froome's tank will start to empty.
But whose tank has anything left in? Maybe Lopez :)

Funny to see how many posters in here raging over the non-participation of Lopez and Carapaz in the chase group, considering how many demanded non-cooperation when fx Froome was chasing Contador.

This is brilliant bike race, weather your sympathies lies with Froome or another rider.

Not so much when your sympathies lies with Yates and Pozzovivo...

So, what's the record for number of pages for a stage?
This isn't gonna get close to 2011. Those days are over.
I actually think the Stelvio stage from the 2014 giro has the record, at least someone once claimed that. Don't know if true.
I just looked at a few of the 2011 threads and holy crap, how on earth can there even be 139 pages of discussing the freakin Luz Ardiden stage
Those were the haydays of the forum. Freaking 2011 Suisse ITT has something like 80 pages I think. That thread had more outrage than this one.

I think there have been stages with 50+ pages of discussion after the finish.

Froome to gain time on the climb, after being completely on his own for 60+ km so far? Unbelievable normally, but today I believe it.

Dissent in the Pozzo group. They're falling back further by the minute.

Riders behind Froome are probably spending more energy throwing arms around and arguing with each other than Froome is spending riding alone at front.
