To be fair, no one saw him as the next anything, but you would have to have ESP to have foreseen that he would crack given his first two weeks.

Yeah right, the saved themselves. they saved themselves so hard that Froome almost falls out of contention and then lash out in week three. Because that always was Sky tactic in previous GTs
