OK, so I half expected Yates to fall back in week 3, even in week 1 I felt that was quite likely. But I didn't expect him to essentially implode, this is pretty extreme.

Very interesting performance from the Giro - Tour attempt prospective.
In order to have any chances of success Sky needed to fit in the Giro demands into Froome's previous training programs.
This looks like high intensity altitude block.
