Giro d'Italia 2018: Stage 20: Susa - Cervinia, 214 KM

Incredible giro, major props to major Tom for his efforts, he had a great and consistently strong GT. In the end though, the best man won, everyone wrote him off, speculating if he would drop out entirely, only to mount a 80k sole effort so great it will be remembered for decades, chapeau Chris Froome, you did it again! Tdf feels open now, might be interesting for a change, Froome makes it interesting for us and him, great champion.

Classless by Sky there.
If 'there' refers to the past 7 years then I agree.

Seriously? I get that you don't like the team but to refer to Sky as classless is a bit much... Their success deserves a bit of respect no?
You can respect somebody's success without thinking them to be conducting themselves with class. And you can succeed on merit whilst simultaneously being a complete jerk - look at people like Petter Northug.

Zero class shown by Froome and Poels there. Just highlights what they will do to win.

Come July I shall be riding my bike and not taking ANY interest in the Tour unless the Dawg is banned.
Now I'm glad I planned my vacay during the 2nd part of the Tour. 1st part will be dedicated to bike riding just like you.

I approve of that sprinting in the end, after all it's nothing compared to yesterday, might as well take the full piss today too.
How is it taking the piss? Why not always try to finish as high as you can on any stage? Froome's probably aiming to win the UCI World Tour this year as well, so every few points help.

Why is it classless?? Are u guys just mad?

Classless is Nibali attacking when Froome had a mechanical.
Classless is when everyone attacked Dumoulin during 'poo gate' last year.

Very good and brave Tom but Froome is in a completely other league.

Yeah, he's a world class GT rider.
Yep. He's head and shoulders above the rest in this race. You have to think if an on-form Nibali, Landa or Quintana would have been in this race, they would have put him out of contention in the first week, and never let him get a gap like he did on Finestre.

Dumoulin is a trier, but limited. And the others GC hopefuls are so flaky and prone to bad days, its ridiculous.

Exactly. I don't rate Dumoulin as a first tier GC contender - yet. Second tier maybe.

Sky haters need something to whine about.
Its okay.
Wouldnt change who wins

Tom Dumoulin -- Chapeau! Great Giro ridden -- could not have done anything more, day in and day out.
Yes he could. He could have buried Froome in those first ten days, but he was riding conservatively and relying on his TT.

Lesson learned for him. If the best rider in the race is on the ropes but just about clinging on, make sure you knock him out.

LOL! Froome would have buried Nibali, Quintana, and Landa on yesterday's stage 19, same as everyone else. Those 3 could have all been riding together and still would not have been able to do a thing about it with 80km to go.

Froome is not sentimental. That's one reason why he's a ruthless winner

Yeah the guy literally speaks about how he spends his time thinking about how he's going to shove it to his rivals.

Also what does Pinot do now? The guy keeps disappointing, I would move on if I was FDJ.

Certain Sky riders like Nieve Landa Kwaitowski get respect here just not everybody else. I can't recall any other fan favorites but there's probably a few I forgot. Flecha.

Or saying that it was all planned, having stuff on the course with gels every few kms, and riding into the sunset with 80k to go.
Take your pick, it won't last anyway.
