The danish guy writing previews on feltet.dk doesn't even list Froome among the 15-20 most likely riders to win the stage. He is also a bit weird lol, but thats also very telling on just how bad he is going atm as that guy certainly knows his cycling.

The guy from ciclismointernacional (David Hunter), did not put Froome in the favorites either!

YOu canot rule out Froome ...that is madness

But I dont think he will be there today but the last week he will be in demolition mode so the others have to make hay will the sun shines now

I think Froome will lose minutes, he's recovering from that injury and his form wasn't that good to begin with, plus I think the pressure from everything going on is getting to him. Dumo will there or thereabouts and Yates, Chavez or Lopez will take time.

This is a pretty weird but very interesting development. I don’t really think that Chaves means to launch a grand attack on the GC, but it seems as though only BMC is chasing at the moment. Perhaps equally as interesting is it that Sky have both Henao and De La Cruz out there. That's really weird to me. And Sunweb with Oomen as well, though I guess that he won't spend more energy being in the break than if he was sitting in the peloton.

All this said, I can't see this group working together.

Put me down for Pozzovivo. I don’t think the gaps will be huge. Maybe 15-30 seconds by Aru and Pozzovivo on the other GC riders.
