2 mins with 40k is going to be hard to defend. You'd think they'll get it to comfortably sub 1min before the final climbing and it's going to be bridgeable by anyone who hits it hard.

Sagan won't need to finish solo though, he just needs to be within touching distance heading into the descent on top of the final climb.

I also think the pace in the peloton in the flat parts inbetween won't be crazy high

Sagan suffering but this is some great climbing from him

I love a good side shot when the angle really is this serious. None of that fake tilt the camera nonsense needed

Perfect opportunity to try something in the short technical descents but Trek is nowhere to be seen. They drilled it in every single descent so far but of course they won´t do it when they can actually gain an advantage.
