Ulissi, IMO, fits better.
Yeah, but he has seemed to be in pretty crappy condition the last few stages.

James Knox tweets (or Instagrams) that he is riding his coldest days as a bike rider and he is a bit worried that the high mountains days are yet to come in this Giro.

Kinda hard given the next day is a TT.a perfect stage for de gendt to waste his energy on a hopeless effort. while the next day a superhsitty breakaway will win. Sagan wins.
Those were the days. Actually Nibali expressed his concern about the potential effect of the cold in the high mountains. Today he changed many jackets to protect himself from the wet and cold, age catching up.
Climbs are steep enough for Sagan to lose 30 seconds but too much flat for one person to stay away will have to be a strong group. So few riders who can climb a bit and sprint a bit in this giro that the stage is made for
Climbs were slightly easier on Tuesday (although more numerous) and the fact that the stage was ridden so hard really suited him compared to the rest because his motor is just so good*Climbs are easy enough for Sagan to gain 30 seconds.
Didn't you watch Tuesday?
Nibali is just very aware of the importance of not getting too cold. Wasn't he the only one of the front three getting a jacket before the infamous Agnello descent in 2016?Those were the days. Yeah, also very big difference between dry and wet cold.Nibali is just very aware of the importance of not getting too cold. Wasn't he the only one of the front three getting a jacket before the infamous Agnello descent in 2016?

It's pan flat; the peloton (albeit still reduced due to them withdrawals) won't be blown apart like today. I doubt they'll allow the break a 10-minute leash.Think the break will hold on for this one. Not many teams willing to work on stages like these.

Pha, they should try a couple of days in Scotland in the winter.
