The self-proclaimed "Home of Cycling" thinks it would be better to switch to a vuelta stage any time before the last 15 minutes (i.e. before any racing starts)

It is very annoying given they have the exclusive rights for the Giro (and not for the Vuelta) so no other way to watch it...

In Denmark we have two different non-Eurosport channels showing each race. (or either race? You know, one channel showing the Giro a different one the Vuelta).

I've said it before, just move up here.
And many of the biggest races can be seen without break in coverage on TV 2 Norway (which most Danes have available for free)

Boaro caught by the first chasing group with Battaglin getting a free ride. Tratnik continuing to go really well in front.

Definitely annoying, but this was always the most likely scenario given what’s to come tomorrow and Thursday.
Yes, if the rest day came after this stage instead of the Piancavallo stage it would be been different.
Tomorrow's stage finishing before the final stage would also be an incentive to attack today.

I'm torn! I want Tratnik to win, after he's been at if for so long, but NTT getting a GT stage win would be sweet too.

ahaha. I mean the riders. But point taken.

For me, my boredom threshold is much higher than the median around here, I think. I can get interested in the buildings and the nature if the race gets boring.

I'm just joking, I'm doing office work beside watching, wouldn't have had the time to focus on an exciting stage anyway. ;)

At least I'm not the only one doing that.;)
Anyway, I won't get any work done durning the Stelvio stage, so fingers crossed for that one.

Pacing of this three stages was always one of the weak parts of the Giro route. And it showed today.

But soft pedaling today might mean a more interesting race tomorrow. Very curious to see what can happen on the Bondone. That side is nasty (I think the entire Tour might have only had one harder climb - Loze - funny that it is only an afterthought at the Giro).
