I was hoping to see Pernie again in the break, but maybe too much to ask.
Interesting they would let Konrad and Masnada go in the break though, if it holds.

Yeah about that. Even if Almeida wins the Giro there is no chance Remco will be his dom next year. If so to happen: Almeida to the Giro to defend the title, Remco to the Tour with its 80 km ITT.Yeah, I was thinking the same. Remco can help him on any terrain. They'll only need to decide if they're going to the Giro to retain the title or will they step one step higher and try to conquer the Tour.
I think the peloton bridged to the break, then Rick Zabel attacked on the descent and now leads solo.
Yeah wrong information from RAI.Didn't Navarro attack again, when the gap was closed? If the peloton was pushing, I don't think Zabel would had been at the front.
Define early on a >1h climbI don't actually expect anyone to go early on Stelvio.
First 59 minutes.Define early on a >1h climb
4 more riders joined the break: Swift, Carretero, O'Connor and Tonelli. Peloton more than a minute behind.
