Anyway he is doing his usual business in point competion here. Today he finished Gaviria probably. Seems it is between him and Demare now. I read somwhere this stage is for 25 p. But it seems it was 50p.stage.

• the first one also counts for the points classification (12-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 points)

Who can actually dislike this rider? He's one of the best of his generation. An attacker, best descender for a while, with great style. I dont' know really why, maybe it's voodoo, but I've always liked him!

It is impossible for anyone to be everyone's favourite.

He was never a favourite for me, I was probably neutral towards him for the most part (though I also tend to follow riders who don't win often, Contador aside), but have warmed to him a little more in recent years.

I like more the hype (that often turns out to be not just hype) that surrounds the shark on this forum, and like to play along with that. And his career is simply so 'storied'.
