Yates seems to be hanging by a thread.
Could be. Although he does tend to ride at the back of a group quite a lot, unless he's feeling brilliant. I think this was always going to be a day for hanging on for him?

Just tuning in and trying to catch up with everything.
Does anyone know if Formolo has got back to the group of GC leaders?
Group 2? Foss and BennettWho is in the chasing group?
If Evenepoel can end this stage with only a minor amount of time lost that really isn't too bad. He is still holding on.
Evenepoel looking seriously uncomfortable
Imo Ineos just waiting for the attack to do later which seems quite reasonable for nowThe Jumbo attack gaining time this quickly shows how defensively the big names are unfortunately riding.
I think that's most probably the case. I always thought he'll have troubles riding on sterrato.I hope that this is due to lack of technical ability rather than legs.
Foss trying to move up on GC, I guess. Seems pointless, they're only 13 seconds up now. What are Jumbo doing, apart from being cool? Do they believe they will catch the break?

Marked.Yates and Evenepoel will destroy everyone on the last sector. Mark my words.
Yeah it's kind of annoying to me that a once-in-a-decade kind of stage gets handed to a pretty average breakaway group.Oh, I know they deserve it and everything... but this break was only let go because nobody takes them seriously... show me the winner, that will be enough for me.

They know it’s one of the most watched stages, making up for all the flat crapEurosport showed a whole 6 minutes of racing between commercials.
