I guess at the end of the day both will be angry now.I think it's justifiable to not let Almeida drop back to aid Evenepoel. Almeida is not that far back in the GC and then you could keep him as a card to play. Now he will lose a big chunk of time along with Remco.
Ok. Because it appeared to be totally amateurish from QS.But he went recon a few weeks ago.
Looks like he's having a bit of a meltdown.
They should have put him into a race before the giro s that h gets used to decending in the bunch and fighting for the position once again. He wasn't too great at those things before his crash, so getting used to do it once again before going for the gc would have been smarter.
They used Ineos work thoughKudos to Movistar and Soler btw. Amazing race from them today!
Yeah. Dusty is just as entertaining as muddy tbh.At this point it would only mean that it would be easier if it starts raining.
I guess we'll see. If Almeida ends up being worse than Evenepoel on the big mountain stages then him dropping back to aid Evenepoel was definitely the best choice.I guess at the end of the day both will be angry now.
Can't stop laughing at Almeida saying f**k you Lefevere by his attitude today![]()
I just have the feeling that he himself will not see it like this after today.I guess we'll see. If Almeida ends up being worse than Evenepoel on the big mountain stages then him dropping back to aid Evenepoel was definitely the best choice.
Higher speeds so bike handling skills become more important? That would be my guess. So interesting that flatter/rolling sections cause much bigger splits and issues than uphill bits.
They should tbh, it was pissing it down that day.Are they going harder than 2010?
