Huge frustration. I got the day off work to watch this from start to finish. They are already trying to block the race in the plain. Let's hope we get a real race

Are they racing the descent of Giau?

There are rumours that dependig on the weather conditions the stage, for GC purposes, could finish at the top of Passo Giau and the descent will only serve for the riders who want to try and win the stage :(

Hopefully we will all survive the day without the thrill of Moscon and Ganna riding on the front up two extra climbs anyway

Say that to Matti Breschel, DS of EF. It was pretty obvious that it was on the initiative of the riders.
Honestly it sounds like some teams did this, claiming or thinking they represent the whole peloton, but not bothering to check whether their opinion is actually representative because who the **** cares about them small teams, they don't get a vote, lol, get out of here you plebs, you are like poor and everything.

Anyway for me the Giro ends here, Vegni last year was threatening here and there after Asti. A clown from his first year in charge (remember the motos with the red flags in the descent of the Gavia that basically decided that Giro?).

This is so disappointing. They could just as well crown Bernal and end this GT already.

It's raining and there is a CHANCE (not risk) of snow. That is what makes cycling such an epic sport, and what the fans want to experience. To chop and change stages like this is a catastrophe. Good luck maintaining interest from fans.

The riders must have been the decisive factor - what a large group of cry babies. And Vegni should not keep his job for one more day.

This was my first post on this forum. As you can read I am a bit frustrated. Usually loves watching the GT's every year.

Last year the riders had a CPA/rider Telegram group. I think they still have this group. Perhaps they votes there yesterday or today and the CPA then told the result the organisers.
