That too, but I was more referring to it sounds like it literally means 'Contadors ***hole'

You could make a real Etna Tappone with 4 different Etna ascents and another 1 or 2 climbs before it (the finish would be on the side where Chaves won the stage in 2018).Why Etna, AGAIN?!
Nice climb, but overused. And always in the first week. Try it elsewhere (if you must try it at all).
They could use something else, but if they are going to use it at all, it should be in the first week. It would require a very strange Giro route if they were to have it in the second or last week. Why Etna, AGAIN?!

Yeah, you could have something similar in a just under 190km long stage: https://www.cronoescalada.com/index.php/tracks/viewTour/530307/287080Could be a kind of old fashioned 90's alp stage in the tour, with multiple 20km long climbs on 6-8%. Would definitely be interesting. Could easily serve as queen stage.

Yes, I think soNoob question: Is there a giro presentation show on eurosport just like the one with TdF?
November, we still don't have an exact date. When is the announcement?
I have no additional info when it comes to a potential Südtirol stage, our govenor talked like it was a done deal months ago, but nothing new since then.A few minor updates. Torre del Greco will see stage 8 start, the Calabrian stage will go north along the Tyrrenian coast but might finish outside of the region, Trentino SüdTirol is said to be in, but either that or the Garda stage cannot happen. We need more info there.

Worthy of a parliamentary inquiry IMOI have no additional info when it comes to a potential Südtirol stage, our govenor talked like it was a done deal months ago, but nothing new since then.
I'll give him a serious talk in about 2 weeks.Worthy of a parliamentary inquiry IMO
You can't really call Etna overused if the Giro hasn't used the same side twice in recent history. Like, would you call a climb that hasn't been used since 2011 overused? Why Etna, AGAIN?!

I don't reeeally wanna let this one go too much cause the Tour is using the other side of Peyragudes....You can't really call Etna overused if the Giro hasn't used the same side twice in recent history. Like, would you call a climb that hasn't been used since 2011 overused?

There would be Regia Trazzera Prestanfuso, a monster murito that is covered with concrete. 1.1km at 18.8%.I don't reeeally wanna let this one go too much cause the Tour is using the other side of Peyragudes....
But then does Sicily have much alternatives for MTF apart from Etna?
19% average seems insane but it as long as there's no pinches that make it re*** then it looks pretty epic to me.There would be Regia Trazzera Prestanfuso, a monster murito that is covered with concrete. 1.1km at 18.8%.
You could use it right before an uphill finish in Caltavuturo. You can have Piano Battaglia right before it and have a nice stage.
Here's a really short version of a potential stage, but you can make it longer without any problems, maybe start in Palermo and add one of the short to mid length climbs around the city right at the start. One could also go for a Tirreno-Adriatico style circuit that consists of the final 41kms of the stage, but that might be overkill:

Sicily is filled with cities that are on top of a hill, so you could do a ton of punchy uphill finishes.
first and last stage to be ITT. Another ITT in the middle isn't ruled out yet but it looks less and less likely. The Verona ITT might be longer than usual but even so it would be pretty bad. Can't see any mention of the amount of ITT km in total. Do "we" know anything about that yet?
