Of course it should. What is all these comments....
Oh it will be finished but it could also end as the biggest joke in Grand Tour history but that of course will worry no one in a few years. But yeah if it's what im expecting 6-7 dropouts/DNFs/OTLs per day on average - I would be ok with saying ok let's go home and try next year. For me the fun is out of it.

Just a whole load of misfortune and bad weather, the race goes on, it's been worse than this, however much of a sickener this may be.

That Rodriguez crash looked really bad too, high speed into a road sign

Rog has reached his average of two crashes per grand tour ... but it's still just the second week.

Ineos might use the 3 lower down riders in tactical moves now, with Tao and Thomas they would've been more likely to fold into domestique roles.

Sad as the circumstances might be, some of those riders a bit back, Caruso, Kamna, Carthy have to be looking a the shrinking list of contenders and the busy terrain ahead and be thinking hold on I really fancy my chances here.

Bahrain have 3 riders in the top 20 too, all can climb really well when their form is good.

Not only running out of GC leaders. Also running out of guys that are supposed to control breakaways.

Kinda funny how often the role of the favorite has shifted since the start of the Giro when the first true mountain test comes in two days.

Terribly sad for Tao though. The guy hasn't been able to live up to the status of a Giro winner ever since he won it in 2020 and now that it seemed like he could do just that, this happens.

What a sh*tshow this Giro has been so far. Hardly any exciting racing, 11 stages in, and GC contenders (and others) taken out left, right and center by covid and crashes. With the weather likely continuing to be wet, this destruction derby is not set to stop any time soon.
