A Jakob Piil stage? This is one of those weird third week Giro stages where you think it'll be a nailed on sprint but a break ends up just hanging on..
That was also Stage 10 so it‘s a bit differentA Jakob Piil stage?
Even though that was at the Tour de France.
But also after or in between the big mountains. That was also Stage 10 so it‘s a bit different
What would have made this Giro interesting is if Remco and Almida were still teammates and they raced each other. Now Almida has become the next Luis Herrera so it’s not all bad, but I still feel this Giro is lacking something. The only question is, could Remco have beaten Almeida in this Giro?
How low can you go? How low can you go?Its stage 17 and we've had one mountain stage. Wtf?
I was referring to stage 18 in 2019 and stage 18 last year, but that also fits the narrativeA Jakob Piil stage?
Even though that was at the Tour de France.
One and a quarter! Its stage 17 and we've had one mountain stage. Wtf?
Remco would ony whisper: "psst...you guys have any vacancy left at UAE? I'm so sick of Patrick, he's all over me with his boomer sense of humour".The only question is, could Remco have beaten Almeida in this Giro?
You would really prefer, that the first and the second best rider in a race are from the same team? That´s the most boring thing in whole cycling...What would have made this Giro interesting is if Remco and Almida were still teammates and they raced each other. Now Almida has become the next Luis Herrera so it’s not all bad, but I still feel this Giro is lacking something.
Evgeni Berzin & Piotr Ugrumov disagree! It´s interesting, when the second and third best rider in a race are from the same team, because they could use tactics to attack and crack the best rider in a race.
"Guys, guys, is this what you call a wheelie?"
Tbf this stage is pointless for a breakaway. The route means they've no chance really unless the sprinter teams just aren't interested. There are like ten teams with no credible sprint option and nobody to protect on GC, this is the last chance to do anything for half the peloton, but the ongoing theme of this Giro is that nobody wants to do much.
