Pedersen can still do classics and maybe harder sprint stages, he'll be fine. I guess QS might try to get Dainese as their 2nd sprinter instead.

Arne Marit dropped his chain before the sprint, but I really doubt he could have won the stage, as he apparently believes. But he might be successful in Rome, if Milan starts his sprint too far behind once again.

Second time this happens to him this Giro as well. They might wanna take a look at their material. Or he just messed up his shifting.

Correct, they put Dainese in the doghouse because apparently he's "difficult to work with" and didn't mention him as one of their 3 sprinters at the pre-season press conference. I hope he goes to a team that values him more, when a team works for him as the designated leader he actually wins or podiums in WT stage races.

If Ewan wasn't still with Lotto next year I would immediately want him at Lotto. He's underrated and relatively cheap for a guy that can win GT sprints.

He also usually seems a bit undergeared for such a powerful guy, a bigger gear on the bike would probably also help him a lot.

I agree, I wasn't sure at first if it was a mistake by him or on purpuse. For example when he got his first second place his gear choise looked completly ridicoulous, waaay to small.

Remco would've won the Giro by n minutes (n -> ∞). That's what I've been told since 2020.

Another narrow second for Milan sprinting from a terrible position. I am starting to feel for the guy.

Nice reward for persisting although not feeling well in the past few days. Milan is having a great Giro. He likely would have won more stages if he wouldn't sprint from that far.

Pasqualon is a great leadout man. I'd think the problem is more Milan himself.
