Looks like Milan will go to Trek which could provide a good lead-out - Where does this leave Pedersen? I am guessing that QS must have tried to get Milan because he would fit into their team.

Pedersen can still do classics and maybe harder sprint stages, he'll be fine. I guess QS might try to get Dainese as their 2nd sprinter instead.Looks like Milan will go to Trek which could provide a good lead-out - Where does this leave Pedersen? Huh? Why wouldn't he just stay at Bahrain and they build a train around him, now that Landa goes away anyway?Looks like Milan will go to Trek which could provide a good lead-out - Where does this leave Pedersen? Second time this happens to him this Giro as well. They might wanna take a look at their material. Or he just messed up his shifting.Arne Marit dropped his chain before the sprint, but I really doubt he could have won the stage, as he apparently believes. But he might be successful in Rome, if Milan starts his sprint too far behind once again.
DSM isn't gonna admit their obsessive compulsive disorder! They've got thousands of euphemisms to sugarcoat it with toxic positivity.DSM talking about their favorite "teamwork" again. Saying that it's because they are building a strong team that they were letting Mayrhoffer sprint first. Whatever tf that means.
Lol, can't take those guys serious. Just stupid they didn't let Dainese sprint in every flat stage. Mayrhoffer is a good rider, but not a pure sprinter.

Correct, they put Dainese in the doghouse because apparently he's "difficult to work with" and didn't mention him as one of their 3 sprinters at the pre-season press conference. I hope he goes to a team that values him more, when a team works for him as the designated leader he actually wins or podiums in WT stage races.Wasn't Vandenabeele supposed to race in the Giro, and Dainese only made the team after Vandenabeele's Covid illness?

He also usually seems a bit undergeared for such a powerful guy, a bigger gear on the bike would probably also help him a lot.
The only question is, could Remco have beaten Almeida in this Giro?
If Lefevre wants a cheap replacement for Jakobsen Dainese might be the right guy.Yes and what Mayomaniac says above. Disrespected the kid, let him ride races that didn't suit him and now have the balls to say it was the plan all along and "teamwork". If Ewan wasn't still with Lotto next year I would immediately want him at Lotto. He's underrated and relatively cheap for a guy that can win GT sprints.
They at least would've needed to come up with another idea than "We don't wanna race today" to beat Remco!Remco would've won the Giro by n minutes (n -> ∞). That's what I've been told since 2020.

Pasqualon is a great leadout man. I'd think the problem is more Milan himself.DSM,the team in danger of running out of money recenty, get the win - chapeau! If Milan could get a half-decent lead out man he'd be unstopable.
