Del Toro is going full gas every time all the time. Therefore, he would be lucky if he finishes in top 5 by the end to this Giro. It was nice to see his head drop like that.
On another note, Groves should be expelled from the race. Those sticky bottles should not be tolerated.

The thing that pissed me the most today was the sprint of Ayuso on the Redbull. He could have easily let Isaac take the bonus. I hope he doesn't win this Giro so he can leave the team.

Well Ayuso better hope he improves in 4 days time because at the moment, he is still co-leader but he's slightly losing his grip on the team leadership.

Van Aert may have fared better if he reacted immediately when he could sense that Pedersen launched and then went to the left of Del Toro instead of right.

Surely Del Toro himself knows he can't win the Giro, but he enjoys it and wants to honor the jersey.

I think that's very commendable; otherwise, the leader would probably be someone who will finish in 50th because would´ve borrowed the jersey.

Patxi Vila told RAI that years ago he'd be sure Del Toro woul pay for these efforts in the third week, "but with these youngsters in today's cycling you never know".

In case Del Toro cracks, it's better for UAE to have Ayuso as far ahead of the rest as possible. If Ayuso cracks instead, then at least those seconds didn't go to anyone else.

At the end of the day it's just 2 seconds. But it's the lack of respect that he is showing. I know for a fact that if it was me I would have let my teammate in pink take the full bonus.

Mads saying it would have been great if Vacek had won, he seems like such a good teammate. And I like his purple socks!

On a sidenote I like Orla's pink pantsuit today, first time I've liked what she's worn all Giro.

I dont see any reason why he cant win the Giro ? I am sure he doesnt know yet or the team if he can or cannot but he is very talented so I dont see why not

we are half way through and he is leading ..not sure why anyone would say he cannot win he Giro

Just rewatched the Danish version.

At 250 the commentater says "it's a finish where you die if you go early", and then at 230 Pedersen and Van Aert go - on a steep uphill ramp - it's just stupid :tearsofjoy:

Generally Trek seems to have a really great team chemistry, all the top guys, Pedersen, Milan, Ciccone, Skjelmose, Nys, etc. seem like real "team players" and appear to both like each other in any constallation and be generally well liked by the rest of the team.

Also a Girino compared to a proper Giro when it comes to the mountain stages...

Yes clearly UAE decided to drop Adam Yates in the hierarchy while everybody knows Del Toro cant win this Giro.

We know if Ayuso wins this Giro he is going to daddy Matxin to demand to co-lead with Pogacar in TdF 2026 despite Pogacar being levels above him. Will be a Lance/Contador moment.

Did everyone forget about the 2022 Vuelta or why is everyone so surprised about Pedersen on this finish?

Don't agree, he has only had a few days were he emptied out, and those were last @20,15k, TT didn't tax him, he rode like a cautious old lady! The Wout sprints for sure burned him down some, but he looks okay. Del Toro has not had to chase any quality uphill, if Roglic or other top @7 roll away or go Carapaz animal mode, Del Toro gets tested. As important as anything Isaac is doing, as UAE flesh wounds heal up, it can only get better for the team. Riders like Gee and Bernal are riding close so far, will they take chances?

Speaking of Milan he looked great in the Ciclamino last year and Mads is totally following in his footsteps! :)
