With the exception of Bernal and Carapaz, the rest of the GC riders are very boring
They don't want to do anything, just go at a slow pace.
And unfortunately I think neither of them is strong enough to break the race.

I'm not including Del Toro, but despite what UAE say, it's clear they're keeping him at a pace that favors Ayuso.

To Italian fans here..what's with all the door commercials.. TV commercials for garage doors, front doors and bunch of insurance commercials.. That Ballan garage door looks sweet!!! Bora commercial has base of the cooking range looks like a tree stump..in the kitchen!! Can't understand Italian !! Other channels showing pesky tennis!!

To be fair to them, the route wasn't exactly screaming for action and the last week is really hard. So someone might be the winner in the end who didn't waste anything in the first weeks.

Now in a few kms the decisive part of the climbing in this Giro will start. Don't know how much can be predicted from how the race went before, excluding crashes.

If he's still in the car, maybe he can get away with a 20 second penalty if he re-enters the peloton.

With the captain gone they need to ride for stages - but it seems rather unlikely they would be able to go for this one.

Unless their DS made an alliance with another team they are now riding for, but I think Bora is too big a team for that.

Not hat much better. Obviously Sunday wouldn't have happened but he was already behind in the Siena stage before Roglic crashed.
