EITB don't show Blythe trying to speak Basque, but I guess Pidcock and INEOS would be the only words I'd understand. So pretty much the same as usual.

That Pidcock "attack" may be a good example of the distinction between action and stuff happening.

Pretty sure Pidcock said the other day he wouldn't be riding the Vuelta? But who am I to question Blythe's knowledge base?

Don't think anyone is claiming that? Just that these two stages have been interesting?
You dont look at this stage and think "I Wonder what could have been?" When you see how tired they all are you don't wonder, what if they made this route little more interesting, a little heavier. If they gave the riders a little more room to actually create something? Its not a missed opportunity for you?

I'm fine either way, the route could be heavier and interesting, and this is interesting because with a heavier route, someone would emerge and the race would be over. I like the suspense. I'm not invested in any of the riders so it's just fun watching the back and forth and drama, which has been extended by a less heavy, more tactical course.
