Don't think putting a second per kilometre into Bissegger on a really particular route is that special.
Bissegger has beaten Ganna in that same TT, but fine, we can ignore him.

He out 1.5 s/km into Pogacar, then. Which, again, I don't think Affini has ever done. I agree it isn't a 'special' performance, but it's a very solid ride and a sign he is comfortably in the top three time triallists in the world.

Beyond the Vuelta/Worlds performances, which do not fit within the rest of his career, I don't think there's any Tarling TT performances which suggest he's actually within the 'blob' behind Ganna and Remco.

It was the worst route imaginable for Pogacar.

This TT, for starters. Even if he hangs on, he and the rest of the blob (to the extent they are present) are very bunched up. Without the wind picking up he would probably have lost to Vacek too.
