I know I'm incredibly biased, but I can't think of another captain on the WT, who so willingly sacrifices himself, day after day, for his doms to have a shot, when it's stages he can't win himself - as Pedersen.
Has Del Toro done that thing with his shorts that footballers do with their socks?
Or his legs are just too massive.
BroI may be #1 on the internet in saying DS's are stupid, and I don't think for a second any DS will *** this one up.
Van Aert is enough reason EF should not want to give this 10 minutes. You don't wanna drop Del Toro and Yates only for Van Aert to start pulling Del Toro because Yates couldn't drop him.
Team tactics might come into play but it will probably be a question of whether Carapaz can significantly drop del Toro.
Does anyone, including himself, think that Yates can win this Giro?
I'm slightly less enthusiastic about del Toro now that he's the favourite.
Well, my take is that Tues was Carapaz's best day, Del Toro's worst. Now since then Carapaz's attacks have been ineffective, while Del Toro won a stage and convincingly matched him yesterday, it thus seems the Equadorian doesn't have the heavy artilliary now to drop the possibly growing Mexican. But Finestre will doubtless give us the truth. Not only that, Carapaz wasn't that superior on Tuesday either. Del Toro failed.
Carapaz gained only 15 seconds on Gee and a few more on Simon. Pellizzarri finished before Carapaz.
Del Toro finished behind Caruso or Bernal, who aren't in the physical shape to win the Giro.
It was more a poor performance from Del Toro than a superiority from Carapaz.
So today it seems that Carapaz's pink victory depends on Del Toro having another bad climb.
An explosion doesn't happen at Prudhomme's pace; yesterday Majka was at a slower pace than the Prudhomme. That happens by attacking far from the summit of Finestre.
Please, I want GC riders to fight for this stage.
Anything can happen but if van Aert's still in play, I think he'll be trying to save the podium for Yates.Yates can win this Giro. Finestre is a beast of a climb (as he well knows).

Who's going to attack on Finestre? Pellizari, Carapaz.
Del Toro will try to hang on.
Yates probably won't be able to attack.
Gee and Caruso will follow and try to finish as high as possible.
What percentage of the forum is going to survive the stage? Although I hope for a great stage, how funny would it be on the forum if del Toro watt bombs Finestre?Attacks probably won't matter on Finestre. It may be about survival.
