Derek Gee is riding like one of the reason cycling deserves to die as a sport

Derek Gee is the reverse of Louis Meintjes. Started out as an interesting, exciting stagehunter, and is turning into the kind of rider where GC intrigue goes to die.

He's a much better rider than Meintjes ever was though, which is why he's even capable of getting on the front here, foolhardy or frustrating or not. He's also attacked more in this race than Meintjes did in his entire career when he was targeting GCs rather than stagehunting.
