I am almost as shocked at Roglič crashing on this stage as I was when it was revealed that the newly-elected Pope was, in fact, a Catholic.
Yeah, he's on the move nowRoglic looked fine despite being down, so if this is his traditional crash he'll be fine.
I wouldn't mind tbh but it felt like Del Toro attacked as a direct result of the crash rather than in spite of it, that surely wasn't the plan.Cowardly racing imo. Attacking after a guy crashes
Bad Form to attack the Maglia Ro… oh waitThey had no plan of attacking until Roglic fell lets face it
That's exactly what he did imo.I wouldn't mind tbh but it felt like Del Toro attacked as a direct result of the crash rather than in spite of it, that surely wasn't the plan.
The epic 2010 stage was precipitated when Vincenzo Nibali crashed, and left Vino and Evans at the front with two stage-hunting Milram riders (Frohlinger and Gerdemann if I remember rightly). It was when those two riders started pushing things on and Vino and Evans decided against waiting on Liquigas who also had Basso in the group that the carnage that we all remember so fondly started. They had no plan of attacking until Roglic fell lets face it
It's a bit demolition derby, isn't it?I for one love the excitement of random riders crashing out GC favorites. It really ads excitement to the race.
LOL - Pedersen is riding like a mad man to make it to the Roglic group - he's not done yet![]()
