Okay, fair enough.

My reasons: I have no desire to. Time trials suck, prologues even more so. I dislike Amsterdam; and hate large, crowded cities in general. I'm not interested in being part of any circus, although I can be persuaded to make exceptions in some cases, but today is far from one.

And perhaps most importantly I have work to do. Can't really afford to spend a day doing nothing. I'm taking a break now to see the Giro, but I've been largely working since 8:00. Papers, reading, exam prep...
