Where's Arroyo?

Somewhere in the top 12. How far behind, your guess is as good as mine. I guess we'll find out more with about 25km where everyone is. Unfortunately we have to wait.

I'm trying to remember the precise words that simoni and ricco said about the descending skills of basso. It was in an interview with the both of them, procycling magazine, when they were both at saunier duval.

I think things will come back together a bit on the flat, but they seem to be spreading out on the downhill.

Dutch riders can get dropped too.

Yes, I know you have trouble absorbing that concept ;)
I just read Mollema, Cunego and Samoilau rode away from those 4 ;) (arroyo and co) so

If the lead group is functionally the same size as those following, why should it come together?

Sastre will drop back to Wiggins' group, but other than that I expect we're already looking at the final groupings.

This group of two Skys and two Caisse should do a good four-up TT on the flat section, they could close in to two minutes-ish.

If only Il Falco was still racing, I would love to see what he could do on this descent. He would destroy riders like Evans, Basso, and Sastre who don't appear to know how to ride downhill.
