Nah, he came back up and was 5th or 6th wheel by the top. Just doing his typical style of riding which makes no sense.

No. Don't understand Italian well at all, but it is better than what I've listened to form the ToC. Adds mystique to the event. Plus, video speaks for itself.

The Zoncolan has been described by Italian tv as "terrible, asphyxiating, there is not one metre to rest or recover........"

Sastre wasn't going backwards. He was at the back for a bit and then passed everyone to settle around 5th when they were at the top. It's what he does.

Well, the first 8 kms are only at 15% average. You can rest there, clearly.

I have an alarm which I set for 12:20 to wake up and still have to get up at 7am!

What's the rest climb like? How much will vino lose?

I've been going through the thread trying to find the Italian feed, I saw it earlier but can't find it.

The english one just drops out all the time.
