Sean Kelly: "Bonus second rest day".

On a side note, I see that Eurosport has virtually no coverage of the ITT. Roland Garros round 1 being so, so important and all.

I think Izagirre is the main favorite in this group

Bak & Boaro have shown superb form so far this Giro and Clement also has been pretty impressive and was also impressive in Romandie.
Frank I am unsure about but he is strong rider and the ascent at the end should suit him more than the others, yet Izagirre was in good form previous to this Giro but he hasnt shown anything yet and he may struggle on the climb.

Gap will probably go out a bit in the next 10km or so but someone in the peloton may want to increase the pace ahead of and on the climb at 145km and they will also push it hard in the last 10/15km. Depends on whether people start taking it a bit easier in the break.

I will go for a 11.15 gap:)

So you think Boaro and Bak will ride final climb better than Izagirre? They will be drop there. Moreno, Izagirre and Frank best climbers in this group, Izagirre probably more suited to short climbs plus i think his finishing speed is better than his main rivals

In a breakaway I think it's not all about the strength. There is the now or never factor. Everyone want to win. So, there could be anything, and also the opposite too :D

There will be attacks before the climb, it's not as simple as who climbs better.

Weather forecast for sunday on top of the mountain, -1 celcius.

Poor Rujano and Pozzovivo

They'll just have to go extra hard to warm up. :D

I know, but Boaro or Bak can "die" in the climb after solo attack. They will need 30 seconds at least. Let's see what's gonna happen:cool:

Boy, is Gianni Savio laying into Jose Rujano: big time on Eurosport!
Congratulated all the rest team...excepted Jose. He's got to show, or else.
"We built the car around Rujano and he's got the keys."
