Basso has won himself the Giro.

If the so called 'brilliant' Evans can't take it up to Basso on a course that would 'suit' Evans and beat him comfortably, then he has no chance in the mountains.

Game, set and match, Ivan Basso.

Wonder what odds you could get that Cadel never wins a GT. Unless he does the Vuelta sometime..

I think Evans will be happier from today to be honest.
Unfortunately for baSSo, none of the MTF are overly steep, thus I think evans might be able to hold onto him.

Are you watching the same Giro as the rest of us?

I don't know who's more annoying or who knows less about the sport. The pro-Evans trolls or the anti-Evans trolls.

Kudos to Cadel. I really thought Basso would be stronger.
Garzelli was very smart taking it easy for a few days. Well done. Still a full minute slower than Pelizzotti in '08.
Great ride by Porte!

Which is quite logical considering Mollema's post-Zoncolan experience (illness)

Would be strange if Porte lost time to a non-fit Mollema

Dude it's OK. No-one is expecting heroics from Mollema, you don't need to keep defending him.
