Tiberi may have an alternative agenda for Caruso though.
I'm not sure the GC guys will drop the hammer though, only Del Toro has helpers. On those shallow gradients I don't know whether any rider will attack while Majka and McNulty can reel them back. And UAE probably just wants to pace moderately to have a sprint finish where Del Toro will win.
 
Was thinking of Asturias 2022 stage 2, he said he's fine with the heat once he's used to it but the first properly hot/long day can be difficult for him. His team are pacing anyway so maybe he's feeling good.

Has had the the occasional bad day in the heat, however, his cryptonite is cold and rainy conditions which is the opposite of Adam.
