I don't like what Tschopp did, but I can understand it. He's not exactly highly paid, and the Cima Coppi comes with a sizeable financial prize.

why on earth are there 4 bmc sougneurs at the top of the climb, do they honestly expect 4 bmc riders in the lead group?

One has a coat for Evans, the other three are holding a cloth for his jaw.

Get real. He's a professional sportsman on another side. Of course he's going to fight for it.

He attacked him... When that failed he then sucked on Simoni's wheel for kilometers (with only one pull in between) and then narrowly outsprinted a legend of the sport.

Understand yes: The dude has no class whatsoever.

Of course it's still a competitive sport, but Gibo is a legend, an old man, and racing his last Giro. It would have been an incredibly classy gesture to let him take it, but Tschopp was under no obligation to make it.

Well, he's neither the first nor the last to pull an 'Evans'.

This. It's one thing if Gibo wasn't able to keep pace or wasn't contributing to the pacemaking, but that obviously wasn't the case.

C'est la vie.

You're lucky that most of the Aussie (the annoying ones at least) have decided that this Giro isn't worth watching anymore

Only the two annoying, completely irrational, mind-bendingly biased ones.

Most of the rest are here and contributing, as they normally do :)

Lloyd has sat up and dropped right back to the MR group after getting enough points to ensure his jersey.
