Cadel rode one hell of a race.

Also, this is the Giro that made me fall back in love with Vino. Who cares whether or not he's clean, he's a joy to watch.

I have to say, 3 Australian jerseys this tour is a truly historic performance.
Hats off.

Hope that numbs the Evans pain a little :D

And Mollema, once again, proves he's the strongest youngster in the race.

in terms of climbing yes. But we shouldn't take anything from porte, great ride and deserving winner.
Mollema seems to have a bright future though, managed to avoid a real bad day during the hardest GT in recent memory.

Well done Tcshopp, climbed hard to take that win.

I hope the 21 seconds was worth it Evans. I think the move was a good ol' finger salute to the Vino-Liqui rumour. Would own if true. :D

Bauke
Shame he didn't win white, clearly the best young rider

Fuck that, Porte has been amazing from start to almost finish now. He was outstanding and gained a lot of new fans including me.

But I don't doubt the Great Bauke Mollema will end his career with 6 Giro's, 8 Tours, 4 Vuelta's and 4 World Champs.

Sean Kelly: Evans should have attacked earlier. No Shyte?
Shows it's the Giro gradients that did for Cuddles.

Today was a lot like a TDF Queen stage.
Therefore, an exciting 5 minutes.

Huh? You and ACF should get married and adopt a few fanboys.

Porte has been impressive. And lucky.

But I have no doubt he'll win 7 Giros, 9 Tours, 5 Vueltas, but zero World Champs. Which still makes him the lesser rider compared to Mollema.

yet quite dumb. attacked way too early considering his downhilling is horrible.

Man, shut the eff up. He needed huge time, he was never going to get it if he waited till the Gavia. He had to go early, try to form a good group, and hope Liquigas cracked under the pressure, and that's exactly what he did.

Porte got 12 minutes bonus in L'Aquila and 3 minutes bonus in the Netherlands by not losing time there.
He has been behind Mollema in 4 mountain stages, only finishing ahead on Kronplatz (when Mollema was at his worst due to the illness), and finishing in the same group twice.
So clearly, Mollema was better.
