I think we all know Kennaugh isnt going to win the white jersey. But tbh he's already exceeded my expectations and i seriously doubted he would finish the Giro at the start of the week so really anything upwards is a bonus. If he could finish top 50 i would be very impressed.

I'd be pleased to see him finish at all to be honest, he's only 21 and to get to the end of this rock hard Giro would be an achievement in itself.

Thing is Etna is relatively steady all the way up while Pailheres is more irregular which makes it a harder climb.

Yes but Etna throws fire at the riders.

Can your beloved "pailheres" do that.

Huh? Answer me that.

Don't badmouth the Giro.

Everyone knows only fanboys who know nothing about cycling watch the Tour.

What an amazing victory for the Tour. One of their climbs is harder than the 5th hardest climb in this years Giro

Don't know why you guys are dissing the Tour, this year's route is actually pretty darn good...
In stage 4 the winner will already make a fool out of some GT pretenders.

Have you never ridden a bike race then? Bit like saying when 100m sprinters pull hamstrings etc. out of the gate they should keep going. FFS

No, I haven't, and I resent the suggestion that I shouldn't take an interest in the sport as a fan on the grounds that I've never been a participant.

reguarding previous posts about Garzelli - just watched it again and he is having a go at petacchi (in confusing red jersey) not a team mate -watching the video closely i think Alejet had switched sides on the last corner which had impeded the A&S effort (though not dangerously)
thanks
