A&S and Milram working hard to take advantage of a crash.

I already know Gerdemann is an *** who would stab his grandmother down the road for a race win, so no surprise there, but Garzelli surprises and disgusts me.

What is the unwritten rule when the race leader crashes like this? Should the main peloton slow up a bit to see if he can get back on?

That's a bit of vitrol. Are you suggesting that the appropriate thing is not press the advantage?

Vino keeps avoiding every crash.
Quick, someone throw a turtle shell in front of him.

RAI now saying Sastre's in the front group. So, according to them Sastre is everywhere. Sastre is god?

Vino up ahead. trying to get the others to sit up. Garzelli has gone with a few "chancers".
Chapeau Vino...
Liquigas chasing.

Usually the peloton will wait for the race leader if he falls, but apparently not today. They are WAY, WAY off the back.

They just showed a shot of Evans, but I can't tell where he is on the road.

I'm suggesting they should do what Basso and Nibali did the other day:

follow the unwritten rule that says you don't attack someone who crashed and you don't attack in the feed zone.

1:20 the gap to Nibali.

I think Evans is in the second peloton, not far behind the main pack.

Definitely not for the GC guys...

Yeah, I see Vino trying to rein it in. Linus is a bit of dyck. It looked like he was caught and then took off again.

milram and vino should not push the pace. not good sportsmanship.

Vino didn't start pushing the pace... Gazelli attacked and now Vino is chasing.

It's Garzelli's fault not Vino's. You can't expect Vino to sacrifice time to Garzelli because Evans fucked up.

Understood. I didn't get Linus' move when he was caught by the front group. I do now.
