Has the Rabobus even ridden one minute on the front today?
They had their team lined up behind the Acqua's, but afterwards probably thought: what's the point. They'll do all the work.

Good effort but I really don't see the point. Just can't see them staying away.

If he's figuring he has no chance in the finish sprint, he might as well kill himself on the 1 in 1000 chance of winning with the break on his birthday anyway, no?

Plenty of time for Weening to improve that. He was far in hte back yesterday as well but finished ahead of Contador in the top 30 in the end.

Think Weening will end somewhere between 25/35th (and still lose the jersey)

Did you read him saying he's shooting for top 10 on GC? He must be feeling really, really good these days.

Can't see it happening. Like I said, steep climbs don't really suit his massive-gear style.

Might do a top 10 in the Vuelta. Tour is too high level anyway (although, with a long break, anything is possible ofcourse)

Is there something similar to TDF's most aggressive rider in the Giro?
If so, I think we have a winner!

Surely one significant rider will lose some time today? Who will lose time of the so called favourites?

Is the great david blanco on the front?
