10 behind - he has a reasonable chance of wearing it in to Brescia - depends how keen they are to chase breaks now the GC is sown up.

Being pedantic, of course, if he scores enough points to be leading the points classification into Brescia, it's still likely Cavendish (or Evans of course) would be wearing the jersey, as I'd be amazed if Nibbles lost the lead whilst accruing those points.

lol, Nibali picking up enough points in the last two stages and winning the red jersey...

The fundamentals of this competition ain't working too well.

On a side note, the last time I saw a solid competition involving a points jersey was Vuelta '12.

With the cancellation this is now entirely in Cav's hands, and depending how tomorrow goes he may even have it sown up before the last day.

I am guessing that Di Luca's points will be reallocated, in which case the top 5 looks like this:

Cavendish - 113 (no change)
Evans - 111 (2 points gained)
Nibali - 104 (1 point gained)
Betancur - 95 (1 point gained)
Santambrogio - 92 (3 points gained)
