Oh, and Van Poppel was 100% sure that Pauwels could take Bertagnolli easily in the sprint. Makes you wonder who's the boss there, the DS or Sastre?

What is the ISD rider doing?

EDIT: Was that Visconti going for the T.V. classification, whatever that is?

Seems it was never Seeldrayers pulling, but Facci. That's even stranger - why work hard for a group if your captain is behind it? They have probably given up the white jersey then.

Oh, ok. Didn't see him. Too many groups to handle for the TV producers today :)

If they would take one of the cameras off of freakin' Armstrong then they would have an additional camera to cover the real action.

Unbelievable tactics by Cervelo, but Bertagnolli deserves the win imho.

It was funny how the Belgian commentators were recommending Pauwels to wheelsuck Bertagnolli, all happy. Then when the tables turned and he had to wait they went ballistic. Not that I don't agree with them ;)

What was Cervelo thinking about? a spare bike for Sastre in case of a flat tire? but then trying to chase down the winner os the stage? That did not make any sense at all.

On another forum they are saying that Pauwels was ordered to drop all the way back to the MR group but he refused. The stories about this ought to be good. :)

Indeed, and i'm guessing he could win some places...
Too bad he lost so much time in the TT, otherwise he could have gone for a top 15 spot in the GC, maybe even top 10 if he can keep up this level.

It might make a difference tomorrow.

Basso sacrificed himself to soften some of the contenders? Sastre worked and got nervous, DDL looked like he suffered but then attacked, Menchov responded, and I think LL had to claw his way back by himself. Everybody worked except Pellizotti.

Our swedish commentators would like to see UCI fine the Cervelo DS.. probably for tarninishing the image of cycling :). Even if they don't have a TV in the car, someone in the team must watch the race on TV. I guess they have a cell phone in the car at least.

Anyway, happy dinner tonight at Cervelo.

DDL is hard to read. He always looks intensely focused and usually like he is working hard.

Menchov looks so strong and composed.

We saw definite weakness of Leipheimer. He should lose time on tomorrows final climb if the big boys decide to put the hurt on each other.
