Perhaps too much 'easy' kms between Molella and Serra. But who knows.

I think this too. After Mollela it's hard to make another selection, so if Contador sends men up the road who can survive Mollela, he'll have domestiques to neutralize any attacks before Serra, after which he should be able to handle the rest himself

If Aru's is smart (or Astana), they put 1/2 guys in the break, let Cataldo attack on Mollela, and they put Tinkoff and Contador under pressure. Perhaps they make mistakes before Serra. Just waiting on Serra and let Aru attack is quite useluss. He showed the last days he can't drop Bertie.

But on the other hand, there's Sky. Perhaps they will cooperate with Tinkoff if Astana is firing it up. Because Porte will count on the TT.

Bole and Chava going

already back in the peloton

By the way Lotto Jumbo ordered today that Keizer should go in a breakaway

I't still quite poor a WT-team has to count on Keizer for these kind of stages.

Astana tried to get someone in the break yeasterday but Tinkoff chased it down, Rosa was in a move earlier and Tinkoff chased it down, so it might not be an easy thing to do.

True, but better trying it then wait till Serra.

Perhaps not, is Aru behind?
SBS tracker indicating he is 1:30 behind but I am not sure I trust it.

EDIT: It now has Aru in the front group.

Intxausti apparently in the second group.
When he lost 9 minutes or however much it was in the Ligurian intermediate stage earlier in the week one of the first things I thought was "Beñat Intxausti, Giro GPM winner".

Make it happen plzkthx

Hesjedal tried before, but they could catch him.. I think this break is not allowed, but they are strong.
it is going to be a very hard day, the start has been really demanding and the end will be really selective.

I think Hesjedal will get some minutes today and he will be in the podium fight.

He rode like a tool yesterday to take the win, that I do accept.
