If he started today on a three day solo then he might just pull it off.

Liqui, despite their mistakes early in the race look to salvage a podium spot - despite - their stupid tactics.

Are there any cards left to play here or is this Giro essentially over? Liqui are probably the only ones who can really animate the race at all today unless someone in the top 2 falls of the face of the earth...
