Someone here said on some other thread that they were 99% not going to be invited so i didnt expect it.

Everybody happy as everbody gets to come to the party.
Let's hope that the radio row doesn't turn them all into a bunch of party poopers.
Would be daft, rather than drastic.
Luck they have their little toys, as, with 207 riders, safety is going to be questionable.

Contador isn't a sure thing yet to be one of the 207

Riis also told VeloNews that Contador’s plans to ride the Giro d’Italia are not fully confirmed.

Contador has spelled out his racing schedule that includes a start at the Volta a Catalunya (March 21-27), the Vuelta a Castilla y León (April 13-17) and the Ardennes.

Riis said a final decision on whether Contador will race the Giro could come this week.

“It’s not 100 percent decided that he’ll do the Giro,” Riis told VeloNews. “He’d like to do it, but I am worried a bit about how hard the Giro is. It depends on how you race the Giro. Alberto is the favorite in every race he starts. We’ll make a decision soon.”

Dont worry. They all have radios. Riders should prove it by themselves.

Patently obvious Riis is waiting on word from HQ on the prospects of an appeal.
No appeal = TDF = no Giro.
So much hot air about doubles, never mind the treble.
Hopefully WADA, at least, will keep him guessing and left to gamble.

He'll do a double some day, but most likely the Tour-Vuelta.

Doesn't matter if he ****s up at the Vuelta if he already won the Tour.

But UCI will appeal, so Contador will ride the Giro. He'll then be freed to race and win the Tour after he won Il Giro :p

So no surprises here, except choice of 23 teams.
Good selection of teams.
But perhaps there will only 22 teams with VAC and SAX pending. We will see.

Have fun at the Giro, Team Geox ! Happy ! This will be a nice GT.

It's great that no one of Androni, Farnese Vini, Geox, Colnago and Acqua Sapone is missing but I thought the UCI rules allow no more than 200 riders
