Really not sure how you haven't got it. You have his nationality, and his TdF participation narrowed down to three years. That of itself is uniquely identifying.

As QS mentioned yesterday there were no riders that fit the description, unless AC had either made a mistake, or the answer to whether he had raced a Tour against Armstrong only referred to the 2003-2008 time period.

That left me with four options: Sapa, Wegelius, Carlström and Szmyd. Three of them have now been eliminated so it must be Sylwester Szmyd.
