Ok, what happened? What did someone do? The day after Mrs Wiggins' twitter is mentioned on here she closes her account... Did one of the internet heroes on here decide to send some abuse her way or something?

I just did a search of replies to her, and nobody did said anything publicly. I don't know when she deleted, but twitter had a problem where it was published how people could make anyone auto follow them, and some people hit up celebs. In response, twitter had a chunk of time where everyone had "0 followers 0 following" while they tried to clear it up. Some people thought early on before the news got out that their own account had been hacked, so there's a chance she panicked and shut it down. Otherwise maybe the team said something? It's a shame, she was definitely entertaining.

That is exactly what I was going to post weeks ago when I first saw the thread. They should learn to ride their bikes, stay upright, keep a lead, gain some mojo by wining some big races .... then they might have some mojo to lose.

And all those people who said Cioni didnt have a hope in hell of a top 20.. Brad has been sticking to Dario like glue the last two days.. finished within a few places of each other both days, and will be the same in the mountains.

And Froome, Possoni and Hayman are all in perfect positions now to go in breakaways. Cummings could have done with losing a few more minutes. Wouldnt surprise me though if Cummings or Froome dont have a pop tommorow.

Breakaways are clearly in. And if Sky get a rider in one there will be one less team chasing. I think 9 42 is enough as he is clearly not there for the GC.

Cioni is of course a Brit, whatever the results say ;)

good job by sky tbh, kept cioni and wiggins in it and done a great job of moving the others into "no threat" territory"

With all that black and white on the road it might have looked like a normal bump in the asphalt

im not even going to show you the teams classification..

The whole of BMC could be in a breakaway with the exception of evans and nobody would bother chasing it down.

That's our tatic. Lose lots of time and the hit 'em when they don't expect from riders they don't expect. We will be able to win stages also so that should be good.

just like sky... although a bmc rider in the break, that really would involve the element of surprise.. ;)

see you in the breakaway..

Well, you said he would Top 10. I said he might, just might, be able to scrape a top 20. He lost time today, finishing alongside Sastre and is now 25th, just under 8 minutes down from 10th place Scarponi.

I think my side in this is looking rather good.

He would've been top 15 without that crash that took out the entire Team Sky though.

well lets be realistic.. Cioni is hardly going to attack sastre and evans on the climbs and try and win the giro. A good result would be top 20, a very good result would be top 10, a positively spectacular result would be podium.

Is what Dim said.... dutch memories are like the cheese, full of holes!

How does the entire team crash together in any stage? Was it stage 3 they crashed????

Loved seeing Sky work so hard at the front today (I guess it was work) looking like a "team" taking control..... only to fall flat when the sprint kicked in today. That told it all. I mean they dropped faster than sugar in my tea. The went down together faster than they do in the team hotel elevator.

Ask yourself this Palmy. If a Football Club has a performance like this what do they do to management?

It is an embarrassment. Not quite a national one.....yet

off with baldy's head

They are slowly improving in the bigger races, lacking a bit of firepower but it'l come together in time. Some changes of management are sure to be coming and the team will be all the better for it.
