I don't think there's any doubt he's done it to make himself look better.

Mmm...you drop in like some paratroller, make a patently irrational statement like that above and then demand rational debate. I'm afraid you're going to have to do better than that.

Cheating on your wife is FAR worse than cheating in the TdF.
And Lance did not hide his doping from his wife.

LOL, you hav'in fun again with misdirection. The last time I checked the UCI wasn't the regulator of purported adultery, drinking, or table manners.

Polish, maybe you should be running the morals and public vice dept. of the Saudi cycling association--or better yet, the Saudis should run the UCI and dope testing (with Sharia law). :D

IF Lance cheated, there was one victim (and maybe the kids). Not other pro cyclists and millions of fans. And his private life is none of our business, besides. Except the sponsors maybe and $$$$$. Now there we really may have some cheat'in.

This is what makes the Landis case so compelling: he's lost everything and prob. is less guilty than others who continue to milk the sponsorship system endlessly. It's scandalous. Unfair.

A fair UCI which administers flat testing coupled with the bio-passport scheme would prevent any sharp changes in career trajectory (performances explicable only in terms of dope).

The UCI is not an appropriate organisation to be both policeman and promoter of the sport given the history of the organisation. The testing regime needs to be at arms length from the UCI and it's not just about being independently administered, it actually needs to be seen to be independent. Otherwise irrespective of the integrity of the people involved there will always be doubts.
