Height & Weight: You Vs the Pros

I'll start:
6'3"; 176 lbs - 1.90 m; 79.8 kg

Some pros from recent headlines (m; kg):

Boonen: 1.93; 82
Cancellara: 1.86; 80
Greipel: 1.84; 75
EBH: 1.81; 76
Chicchi: 1.78; 73
Machado: 1.78; 64
Contador: 1.76; 62
Nocentini: 1.73; 60

I love the difference between Chicchi and Machado. I slot in in the Boonen/Cancellara range (though I'm really more Ballan-esque). I'm curious to see how the rest of you shape up, especially the frequent posters.

Thanks for looking, you're now free to get back to the AC/LA threads. ;)

Embarrassing, but I'm the same height as AC and the lightest I've ever been was 70kg (now 76kg). In my defence, I do have the legs of a track cyclist rather than a skinny beanpole and I regularly lift weights. Regardless, at 70kg, my friends and family were very worried about my health because I was so skinny. I don't think I could physically (or mentally) get as low as 62kg and I have no wish to either.

Krebs - you're a freak! I have a question for you - a friend is also 6'8" and he is looking for both a road and MTB. He really wants a '29er MTB. What do you ride and do you have any suggestions for him? Thanks.

180 cm and 84.5 kg. And watching those little fellers fly past me on the hills! But happy at this weight seeing as I don't ride competitively.

Elapid - I know a framemaker who is about your friend's height. If you want his contact info send me a PM. He might be able to help via building or recommending others who are skilled at making bikes for the big men. He's really into the 29'ers.

I don't a 29'r but I ride a 21" Jamis Dakar Comp full suspension and a 62cm Mondonico Futura Leggero steel frame road bike with Ultegra 9sd triple.
If I was to look at another road frame it would be a Pegoretti Big Leg Emma or a custom by Zinn Cycles who specialize in tall/short riders even crankarms 130mm-220mm. also big boy wheels

Last year after a stint at altitude, holiday not training, 172cm 61kg...now after a stint of my girlfriend refusing to let me go unfed I'm 68kg. Interestingly fat is about the same.

this morning 199.5 lbs.

damn steroids

Take it to the Clinic Big Fella :p Just kidding hope they're working.

Im 178 cm and 68 kgs. The result of which is that Im too heavy to climb, too light to sprint and I just cant be bothered TT'ing. But I tend to be pretty happy sneeking into a small bunch and then sprinting to the line.

172cm - 65 kgs, but natural weight of around 68kg and been to as low as 61kg when I was harassed by family and friends for looking too 'sick' despite being the fittest I had ever been. Climbing that season was a lot easier :)

Height I am not sure of I think its 178 or 9 cms and 170lbs I weighed last time so I think around 76 77 or 78kg... I think i am not close to anyt professional in size to weight ratio.. maybe comesso :S.....

I think if i were to lose spare fat I could lose 2 or 3 kg but I dont really want to ..I am comfortable with this weight. I dont need to be heavier or lighter for any particular reason
