Bernie's eyesore said:Great race, still gutted about Stybar, even more gutted that the cobbles are over for another year.

p.s. Fans are not to blame for Stybar's stumble. After watching multiple replays, it seems clear to me that nobody did anything out of the ordinary. He needs to keep his head up when riding so close to the crowd.

So disappointed by Pippo Poz I almost couldn't watch it.
Disappointed also by what happened to Stybar, I was really enjoying his ride Glad to see Niki back in business tho!
On a second thought I enjoyed this new Rabo(Blanco)Fail a lot
DirtyWorks said:This is my read of the event. IMHO, he had a line he liked, only people were REALLY, REALLY close and then he got bit by the risk he was taking.
I definitely do not like crowd control boundaries in most open-road races. There are risks running races like that, but it's a part of what makes cycling different and great. Barriers at the finish is a different story.
9 out of 10. This race has an "act of God" element missing from many big races.
Afrank said:When a race makes your heart race, gets your blood pressure up, and transfixes your eyes on the screen...you know it's a great race. And this is what the race did to me multiple times. This was by far one of the best races I've seen, Cancellara was the heavy favorite, but even so there was multiple times when I thought Cance wouldn't be able to win.
Tons of action the whole race, and of all the ways it could have ended, a track sprint between Cance and vanmarcke was the last thing I expected.
Therefore...a 10. I would even vote 11 if there was a option for it.
The only thing that could have made it better was if Phinney had been up there.
