Have you watched him race???? you're only off on the TT, climbing, sprinting, and lack of any train. Oh wait, that's everything!

Does he have bumps on his head?

A yes, the new wonder PED that makes you climb better, sprint better and TT better. He has had access to it since he was 21 and tells no-one else, not even his brother, what it actually is. Seems reasonable.

So far the only evidence is that he's doing well. It's not like he's had a suspicious jump in performance - he's been the 'next big thing' for a few years and is delivering as was optimistically predicted.

I have a friend who is from the same area and raced bikes. He was a genetic specimen. He is 79 now, and won races at 53 against Cat 1 racers. My friend never used any drug except wine and beer.

Think about my friend who only played tennis until age 37 and won Cat 1 races at 38.
Genetics. Check out the you tubes of Sagan racing BMX bikes.
My bet not only is Sagan clean but like my friend does not need to much training, Sagan has heart of lion.

the OP asked the right question.
it's not whether he dopes, but whether he can stay below the radar.

when was the last time a promising young pro-rider got popped? That's not in the uci's interest.
and if the uci want to develop cycling in countries other than france, spain, italy and the netherlands, probably the uci's intention will be to let sagan develop himself further and put cycling on the map in slovakia.
and sagan doesn't look like the shoot-yourself-in-the-foot-kind of type either.
he's mentally probably more balanced than ricco. so we might see more of this guy before he gets popped.

No, it sloppy thinking. Sagan has never climbed or TT-d (long TT-s) like Indurain. And so far he during rela falt sprints he has been beaten by pure sprinters.

Sure-sure. If Li Fuyu is popped, then it is because UCI wants to show results and is willing to sacrifice obscure rider. If Li Fuyu is not popped then it is because UCI is intrested of Chinese market and wants to develop cycling in countires other than France, Spain and Italy.

You can always presnt some logical construction, by this logic, you can always find arguments to justify whateever you want to believe.

Fuyu was around 30 or 31 when he got popped.
but indeed, Fuyu's case seemed to go against the uci's agenda to develop road cycling in countries where it is underdeveloped.

Never tested positive *cough**splutter*

So far he hasn't done anything that screams 'doper' to me. 4 wins out of 4 at the ToC on sprinter friendly stages against a 2nd rate set* of sprinters, doesn't even raise a blip.

*Kittel was far from 2nd rate last year, this year he just doesn't seem to have the same edge outside of the one result (Scheldeprijs)

really? a look at his palmeres when he first turned pro shows him winning the TT in the Tour d l'Avenir in 1984 and 1985, along with a host of first and seconds. In the first TDF he finished in 1987 he was 8th in the prologue and 6th in the final TT. Granted he wasn't putting 3 minutes into the field like in the early to mid 90s but still.

Oh my god what is Marc de Maar a doper. Finished 4 stages in the same group as Sagan!!!!!! Just because Sagan has the sprint that someone like de Maar doesnt makes him a doper? Silly topic.

Was Kittel actually in the same group with Sagan in any of those 4 stages or did he get dropped? If it's the latter, it's no surprise Sagan won all 4 sprints, there is no other excellent sprinter in the field! (Except for Boonen but he's just come back from an extended holiday...)

Even if Boonen and Kittel are in the group, both likely to have suffered more on the hills than Sagan. Just look at the 2nd place the whole time. He's beaten Haussler 4 times, it's not like it's Cavendish, Gilbert, Cancellara, Contador that he's beaten on the flat, the hills, the cobbles and the mountains respectively. He's beaten another semi-sprinter 4 times.

Does he have bumps on his head?

it's true - I saw a photo of him from 10 years ago, he had a small head, no facial hair - in fact he would have passed as a 12 year old boy.
