I would love a top level british athlete to be busted for doping? Wouldn't you?

I'd like anybody who is cheating to be 'busted', why insert top level or British in your adjectives? That very description makes me think that those factors are more important to you than whether the person is cheating.

Considering that the current head of WADA (Reedie) and the current head of the IAAF (Coe) are both British, as well as the athlete in question I think it's perfectly acceptable to hope that Farah gets busted. Many here are sick and tired of nations protecting their own.

Remember all the myacera positives in the 2007 Tour that were leaked out, why did they only bust Piepoli and Ricco when 7 out of 9 csc riders were on it, and about 30 were positive to the myacera during that Tour. Why did they only bust the expedient smallfry?

My crackpot theory is head of Russian athletic federation is not happy about brunt blamed for the bribery. Rumor is he was at an IAAF meeting performing treasurer duties very recently.

Of course the allegations are true. Paula Radcliffe has apparently gone silent on social media just in time.

Coe knew nothing as second in command??? He's got huge problems now. How will he get his bribes!????!?!

The article is lacking with more substantiate details on it. Even if it's 100% truthful, it's probably the reason why they're holding off on it for now.

Why bother creating them if there are enough already to bribe, producing fake ones may bring in all sorts of complications

Anybody accused of doping would demand to see the test results. I don't think it would be possible to extort money from a clean athlete. We see how all the guilty ones howl and claim innocent and wait for the B sample etc, etc

I knew a guy who claimed to be just like that. When push came to shove though he said he didn't want to hurt Dopers by outing them as Dopers. Turns out getting caught doping is not a just punishment for people who merely doped.

I knew a guy who claimed to be just like that. When push came to shove though he said he didn't want to hurt Dopers by outing them as Dopers. Turns out getting caught doping is not a just punishment for people who merely doped.

Don't worry I'm sure he'll remind Alex Gibney that he became a fanboy of Lance thus a poor journalist.

Nevertheless I'm this journalist is working on the Radcliffe story as we speak.

You are assuming a logical ethical world. This seems to be anything but. If someone has their hand out with real ones presumably the need or hunger for cash is great. They are already being unscrupulous so why not.

Logical perhaps, how though is bribing ethical?

It just doesn't make sense to fabricate failed tests for bribes when you can bribe those who actually bribe those who failed a test, lot easier to get your money this way, seems though that in the case of the female 1500m Olympic Champion Diack overcharged

But it took only one little sentence about Fara. There are no any details, no dates of the failed tests, no specific drugs, nothing at all. Russian media never had an inside information about doping with the athletes from the other countries before. Moreover Parisotto and Ashenden had the access to his data and found nothing abnormal. Logically we can assume that it's just fake.

Yeah, Vandevelde was 5th IIRC and Kirchen 8th. Former superdoms taking the reigns, with some good old superdoping.

If the Russians are doping you can be sure everyone else is.

At start of 2015, Italy 62 doping bans in Olympic sports, Russia second with 55. US, GB, France and Kenya in top 10. Not just Russian problem.

Maybe he dopes a lot? This information is just as "credible" as anything that comes out of the british media regarding Farah.
