Nice ride by Manuel Cardoso! And Quickstep scores again. They should have more wins by now than last season :) (and Lotto is starting to lose the edge :) )

Lol, another win by QS!

I admit, I knew Fenn was in QS, but didn't know a lot about him. What kind of rider is he? Sprinter obviously by the looks of it.

Weren't they working for Bos?
Maybe, but that would be strange, since a) he has had just a few weeks of training after leg surgery and b) he can't handle the cold.

I didn't have him down as an out-and-out sprinter, more someone who's fast in selective finishes. Wouldn't for a second have picked him to win today, even in this relatively poor sprinter field. Great to see though - I raced against the guy as a junior, awesome to see some of these guys getting Pro contracts and doing well.

ah I didn't know he has been injured. I was just trying to find some sense in the decision of having Mathews up the road on a flat race...

Nice work by Rabo, sending Matthews in the break??

A little bit of training in breakaways never hurt anyone. But it's Rabo, their tactics never cease to surprise. But to be fair, who knows, maybe he just didn't have great legs or something today and decided to go in a break.

Came 3rd in u23 world champs last year, won 2008 paris-roubaix for juniors. Also won the last stage of tour of bretagne.
Is obviously a sprinter but he is also looking to classics especially the cobbles hence the roubaix win.

Cheers mate. Looks like an interesting fellow to follow. I wonder if he'll get a selection at Roubaix then to get some experience...

So he's like a power sprinter then.

His kick really seems to have developed in the last year or so. Still got to put him down as a big powerhouse perfectly suited for the cobbles, but looking like he may have another useful string to his bow.

Incidentally, Luke Rowe also was just outside the top 10.

In addition to this, he completely crushed the field in the Memorial van Coningsloo (Belgian 1.2-race) after a superb 20k solo.

Would also probably have won the paris-roubaix espoirs last year if not for a puncture, and was very active in kuurne brussels kuurne (in the break) and tour of oman & qatar

Great start to his pro career.
